Thanks for the suggestion Rodrigo, I checked it out and it seems that the SMTP reflector fits my needs. (http://www.performance-peek.com/blog.nsf//articles/MAIL-7MYLQ)
I will look into it in more detail...

Meanwhile I have created a scheduled agent that sends emails at regular intervals to my personal Gmail address.
And in my Gmail account I have configured a filter and forwarding address to send back these emails to my Lotus mail...
